Elegant Modern Residence
This Elegant Modern Residence is found on a steep slope in Pienaarstrand, Mossel Bay with limited sea views to the southwest.
The main entrance is highlighted by a grand staircase leading up to a full-height timber front door, creating a striking focal point.
Stone-clad walls and vertical timber balusters contribute to a natural, serene atmosphere, blending seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.
The building's form has been deliberately broken into more human-scaled elements.
The top storey contains the living area and main bedroom, along with a sunny pergola deck on the north side.
The middle level features two large bedrooms and a central self-contained living area.
The master bedroom is positioned on the eastern side of the dwelling to capture the early morning sun and features a corner window that maximizes views.
A separate ramp ensures private wheelchair-friendly access to the airbnb guest bedrooms.
Door and window fenestration was purposefully limited on the western facade to avoid overheating from harsh afternoon sun.
The main entrance is accentuated with vertical timber balusters and utilizing an imposing two-storeyed column.
